Day 2: Drive to Stavanger (230 km, 4.5h), stopping at Lindesnes Lighthouse and the picturesque town of Flekkefjord

Day 3: Hike to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) for jaw-dropping fjord views (4-5h round trip)

Day 4: Scenic drive to Odda (210 km, 4h + ferry), passing stunning waterfalls like Låtefoss along the way

Day 5: Choose between the epic Trolltunga hike (12-15h) or shorter adventures to Buarbreen Glacier and Bondhusvatnet

Day 6: Drive along the Hardangerfjord (100 km, 2h), with the option for a relaxing Bondhusvatnet hike

Day 7: Travel to Geilo (150 km, 3h), stopping at Vøringsfossen and driving through Hardangervidda National Park

Day 8: Journey to Romsdalen (400 km, 6h), home of the legendary Troll Wall (Trollveggen)

Day 9: Choose between the breathtaking Romsdalseggen Ridge hike (7-9h) or the Rampestreken viewpoint (1.5h, steep but rewarding)

Day 10: Drive to Geiranger (120 km, 3h + ferry) via the Trollstigen mountain road and Gudbrandsjuvet Gorge

Day 11: Hike to Skageflå Farm (3-4h), then visit iconic viewpoints like Flydalsjuvet or Dalsnibba Skywalk

Day 12: Travel to Loen (110 km, 3h), ride the Loen Skylift, and hike Mt. Skåla (challenging, 8h) or Rakssetra (family-friendly, 1.5h)

Day 13: Take an easy scenic walk to Briksdalsbreen Glacier (2h round trip)

Day 3: First Journey on the Bergen Railway – Hallingdal

Embark on your first leg of the renowned Bergen Railway, traveling through breathtaking landscapes to Hallingdal. Enjoy hikes in the surrounding mountain regions before settling in for a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 4: Adventure in Ål

Continue your journey to Ål, where you can choose from exciting outdoor activities such as hiking, ziplining, or a visit to the Hallingdal Feriepark farm. Spend the night in this idyllic countryside setting.

Day 5: Geilo – A Day of Exploration

Day 6: Myrdal & the Flåm Railway

Day 7: Final Bergen Railway Ride to Bergen

Day 1: Arrival in Ålesund

Start your adventure in Ålesund, a picturesque coastal town known for its Art Nouveau architecture and stunning fjord views. Upon arrival, pick up your rental car and settle into your accommodation for the night.

Day 2: Ålesund to Trollveggen (2.5 hours)

Drive towards Trollveggen, one of Europe's most dramatic vertical cliffs. In Åndalsnes, take a stop and, if you're up for it, hike the moderate trail along the Romsdalstrappa to the new viewing platform, Rampestreken. You’ll be rewarded with a fantastic view of Åndalsnes, the Romsdalen Alps, and the Romsdal Fjord.

Day 3: Romsdalen Area

Explore the surroundings on an easy to moderate hike or by e-bike. Looking for a challenge? Climb Romsdalshorn on an exciting 6-8 hour climbing tour with a guide.

Day 4: Trollveggen to Geiranger (2.5 hours)

Continue your journey towards Geiranger, passing through stunning countryside and scenic mountain roads. Arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Geirangerfjord, renowned for its towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls.

Day 5: Hike to Skageflå

Enjoy a beautiful boat ride to Skagehola, followed by a short, steep hike to the historic farm Skageflå. After a delightful picnic, you can either continue on foot up the mountain and back to Geiranger or head back down the mountain and return by boat.

Day 6: Geiranger

Take a hike to one of the beautiful waterfalls, explore the fjord from the water by boat, kayak, or SUP, and/or simply enjoy the view with a delicious coffee and a tasty waffle.

Day 7: Geiranger to Olden/Loen (3 hours)

Head to the stunning Kattanakkjen region, known for its impressive peaks and breathtaking vistas. If you like hike to Brenndalen in the afternoon (3 hours return). The trip offers an extended nature experience of glaciers, mountains, rivers, and waterfalls. Idyllic and peaceful nature.

Day 8: Kattanakken Top Tour

Want to challenge yourself? The weather is good? Then drive to Briksdalsbre Fjellstove, where the strenuous mountain hike begins. The tour takes about four hours to the summit and is sometimes extremely demanding. At the top, you’ll be rewarded with a heavenly view. The return is on the same path. Want to hike but not take on such a long trek? No problem – there are plenty of easier alternatives in the area.

Day 9: Olden/Loen region

There are many more hikes in the area, so it's definitely worth spending an extra day exploring the surroundings.

Day 10: Drive to Sæbø (2.5 hours)

Continue your journey to Sæbø, a tranquil village on the shores of Hjørundfjorden. Take a leisurely stroll around Sæbø, or simply relax by the fjord, enjoying the peaceful ambiance.

Day 11 & 12: Nature & Relaxation

The next two days are yours to unwind and relax. Take a boat tour, hike through the stunning nature, and enjoy the panorama of the Sunnmørsalpene and the tranquility. A wonderful way to end this diverse journey.

Day 12: Drive back to Ålesund

Drive back to Ålesund, reflecting on your journey through Norway’s stunning fjords, mountains, and remote villages. Depending on your schedule, you can either depart from Ålesund or extend your stay to explore more of the region.
